Laura Linney was one of the most renowned American actors in recent history. Her powerful and flimsy roles have earned her a cult name. After spending the summers in her father's company, Laura Linney became fascinated with the theatre. After that in her time at Brown University she studied acting and at Juilliard School, after which the career of her choice took off. Her Broadway career shortly after graduating after which she made her television debut the following year. She has appeared in innumerable film, TV as well as stage productions ever since. Through her entire professional career, she's received many awards, which include the two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards as well as three Academy Award nominations and five Tony Award nominations. Although she has received numerous awards, she still loves theatre and has appeared on both screen and stage.
