April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4th in 1995. In the seventh grade she began to take guitar lessons and piano lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm for songwriting. April Lockhart wrote her first single"Different" when she was twelve years old. At the age of 14, April was devoted for a long period of time in writing song ideas and practicing the music she was playing. In the following years, she took writing trips together with her dad to LA in addition to NY. April also began to include different topics related to some of her peers who are dealing in the area of social pressure and teens who commit suicide through the songs Take my Hand. Lockhart is a well-known lifestyle blogger and being a partner with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia, has built her own fan base. She was born with no left hand, and it makes her unique. However, this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Because of this, her Instagram profile doesn't shy away from her disabilities, yet the focus isn't on her disability as well. It's a message. The message? That we have many different aspects, that our physical and identity selves are not all that appear. Lockhart said via video that she does not want to be defined by her disability. She doesn't want to become an advocate for disabled people who only talks about disability. There are many aspects of Lockhart. It doesn't impact my everyday life. I go about things normally, and I've discovered the best way for me to adapt the things. Because it's part of who I am and something worthy of talking about. Lockhart is a huge inspiration to her fellow women in the area of self-acceptance. However, she admits to going through phases of being uncomfortable with her body and feeling uncomfortable wearing some clothing types which showed her arms. Today, she wears anything she'd like. She also posts her photos on social media. It's a journey is the most important thing. I'm not certain that you ever arrive she says of self-love. However, that is common for anyone with doubts. I think that having people close to you who truly are aware of you and know the depths of your soul is vital as they'll be the ones who will remind you what you worried about?
